Software Engineer
Technology Team
Summary: Maintain and evolve our repossession platforms, ensuring its stability and scalability. Must have strong Laravel, API, MySQL, plus experience supporting an existing production system.

- Support the delivery of projects in software development life cycle including system analysis, design, development, quality assurance, UAT and maintenance.
- Work with stakeholders to define and clarify functional requirements and scope to deliver robust solutions.
- Maintain software design, engineering processes and quality standards.
- Identify and address bottlenecks in the application or broader infrastructure.
- Assist with ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis of specific assigned projects.
Requirements
- At least Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- 2-3 year experience in full stack PHP development.
- Knowledge of PHP web frameworks. e.g. Laravel.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
- Proficient with code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket/Github.
- Familiarity with MySQL databases.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, and also with team members when the need arises.
- Experience of building API will be an added advantage.
- Experience with AWS and its equivalent ecosystem.
- Some understanding of financial services, reposession platforms, loan management etc., industry is an added advantage.
